Saturday, July 23rd is Kid's Day at the Ashland Area Farmer's Market from 8 am to noon on the 200 block of Chapple Avenue in Ashland.
Join us for music, family games, activities, and delicious fun food samples featuring local products from the market. 
Let the kids play and explore the market while shopping for fresh local produce, baked goods, and crafts.
 
 
Customer Appreciation Day was great time!  We had food samples, give-aways, great music, the mayfly hatch, and lots of happy faces!  
Thank you to these door prize donors:  Free Hands Farm, Maple Hill Farm, Hermit Creek Farm, Northwoods Dye Works, Sweet Pea Soaps, and Chili Joe's Confections!  

We will be celebrating customers the first Saturday of each month this season!

Matt from the Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin visited the market to teach customers about bike safety, The Busy Beavers 4-H group gave away milk and cheese to celebrate dairy month, Chili Joe unveiled his new danishes, and we saw the first strawberries of the season!

The cold rain couldn't stop anyone from having fun.  We're seeing more fresh produce every week - and we're expecting strawberries this weekend!  See you then!

Neither the cold temperatures nor the threat of rain could keep the kids from coming and having a great time at the market last Saturday!  They brought their parents, too.  Watch the video to get a glimpse of what you can find at early season markets.
 
 
The perfect weather undoubtedly contributed to the great turnout we had at the first market last Saturday.  We asked everyone what they were most excited about: 
 
 
For those of you that were unable to attend the general membership meeting please return your vendor applications to the Ashland Chamber of Commerce no later than May 10th to be considered for the first round of site assignments. Sites are assigned by a non vendor committee that takes previous participation, products sold, and vendor preference into account when determining sites.
